The Worthington Parks and Recreation department has a variety of public areas for local residents.
Worthington's Community Center has two pools, a fitness center, an art studio, and two gymnasiums. The
Worthington Parks and Recreation Community Garden has a playground for children as well as areas for baseball, soccer, and football. The city maintains over a dozen other parks throughout Worthington as well.
Lastly, the
Olentangy Parklands is a beautiful 10-acre area located on the banks of the Olentangy River. It has two miles of trails for walking, running, and cycling. It also has a skateboard park, tennis courts, playgrounds, pickleball facilities, river access for kayaking and canoeing, and of course, splendid vegetation to look at throughout the parkland.
