Clintonville/Beechwold is a fascinating mixture of vintage and new. Charming, old stone bridges and historic homes provide evidence of the area's historical legacy, yet these areas have also been repurposed and restored providing great value to local residents.

The Clintonville/Beechwold area is well-known for its historic homes. Many are reminiscent of a cottage/farmhouse style. Most homes are at least two stories, with some having a stately front porch and/or at least a partial stone exterior. Residents of the area have thoughtfully updated their homes with beautiful outdoor landscaping and restored interiors while wisely preserving some historical features such as original interior wood trim, french doors, etc.

Northstar Café in Beechwold is a casual restaurant that serves tasty organic New American items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have in-house baked goods. Katalina's, Too! is another casual restaurant offering everything from Mexican French toast to chorizo tacos. The café gets rave reviews for its tasty breakfast tacos.

Elm & Iron Clintonville is known for its eclectic collection of interesting things for the home, including everything from antiques and furniture, to dried flowers. Tigertree has high-quality clothing and accessories for women, men, and children. They also carry unique items for the home.
 

Things to Do

Clintonville Farmer's Market is a fun open-air market offering fresh produce from local farmers and other handmade items such as soaps and lotions. Other vendors offer lunch items and live music to entertain people as they stroll through the grounds.

When residents want to reconnect with nature or walk their dogs, they often head to Glen Echo Park. The park is located in a deep ravine and dotted with charming bridges that span a creek flowing through the park. It's a great four-season place to explore. Another lovely area is the Columbus Park of Roses. As its name implies, this pet-friendly recreation area is home to acres of roses and perennials, herb gardens, and trails to view all the sites.

Walhalla Hollow is another favorite spot of locals. Residents like to visit the hollow to walk their dogs or go for a bike ride. Another spot that's popular with cyclists, runners, and walkers is Olentangy Trail. Last, but not least is Overbrook Ravine Park. The park is a 10.8-acre ravine that runs along the scenic Adena Brook.
